A few weeks ago, it seemed as though the frigid chill of winter would never leave. Lately, the walks to class have been getting warmer, sunnier and all around more pleasant. Around campus, people have broken out their gladiator sandals and others have deemed it warm enough to wear their favorite pair of shorts. The transition from winter to spring clothing can be a bit abrupt, so if you’re not fully ready to commit completely to sundresses, save your leather jacket from the same fate as your chunky sweaters and turtlenecks: the box labeled “winter clothes” that won’t be touched for at least another six months.
Leather jackets are everything. They can be worn with virtually any outfit and make you look at least five times cooler than you did before the putting it on. This Fashionista’s outfit is the perfect mix of minimalism and rock and roll. Her black leather motorcycle jacket protects her from the chilly wind that early spring brings while also allowing her to look devastatingly cool. Underneath her jacket, she wears a simple and chic white T-shirt and pairs it with a classic pair of black skinny jeans. Her black leather bag is ideal for class because it’s large enough to fit books without her having to carry around a backpack. She finishes off her look with some sunglasses and an adorable pair of Tory Burch black flats. Spring doesn’t always have to mean florals and pastels! Keep your leather jacket around for just a bit longer.
What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “Layer! It can be hot outside and freezing in the classroom or vice versa, so be prepared!”
