While I was at the mall, I ran into a Fashionista who caught my eye. I didn’t notice her just because of her cute outfit, but because of the confidence that radiates off of her. This Fashionista knows how to work any look. Something as simple as a sweater, leggings, and Ugg boots turned into a comfortable chic look.
This outfit works well together due to color choice and placement. This petite Fashionista knows how to work what she has and how to visually make herself look longer and leaner. When wearing black pants with black boots it creates an image of having longer legs, and this Fashionista did just that. Burgundy has been the “it” color this year and looks good on every skin-tone. The burgundy turtleneck matches her lipstick perfectly and the black Kate Spade cross-body is a subtle finishing touch for a woman on the go. The turquoise color in her statement necklace is an unexpected flare to her black and burgundy look. I love the three different rings this Fashionista is wearing; wearing multiple rings is spunky and each ring adds personality. Half-up half-down is a hair trend that is continuing over for 2017. I love this hairstyle; the hair is out of the face and ready for running errands. As we have seen on the red carpet…going blonde is going to be huge this year. It seems like everyone is going blonde or getting their hair lighter. This Fashionista’s blonde hair looks stunning on her and really shows the color depth by having her hair styled half-up half-down.
Her style advice of the week: “Wear what makes you feel great about yourself. If you look good you feel good. Sometimes to do that I like to pick a piece that’s my favorite that I build lots of outfits around like a necklace or a vest.”
