My favorite trend on the runway this season, is monochromatic dressing. Why? It gives us Fashionista/os an excuse to wear all black, of course! There is no denying that the average fashion enthusiast has trouble staying away from one specific color. However, most people find applying this trend a lot more difficult than it has to be. All you have to do is pick a color that suits you and apply different hues of that color all throughout your outfit!
This Fashionista chose to rock a gray palette from head-to-toe. For dimension and texture, she chose to pair her look with a fur top that gave the outfit a winter feel. These fabulous silver booties and dark gray zippered pants, create cohesion with the rest of the look while adding a sense of edginess perfect for this season. A simple accessory, like this Fashionista’s dark colored watch, kept the look very classic. To pull the outfit together, she threw on a light gray cardigan to keep her warm, yet trendy.
Never feel too afraid to wear the same color, because the monochromatic trend is timeless. Remember that neutrals create the best monochromatic looks; however, it’s fun to be original during the warmer months with a nice bright color.
If you’re ever running late in the morning and finding pieces that match seem to be impossible, simply throw on different patterns and textures of the same color! There is no doubt that you will look fresh and runway-esque.
