Ever since I began to become interested in the fashion world, I was constantly seeing conflicting reports on what style rules to break or stay away from. Of those rules, one of the most popular was putting together an outfit that featured both black and navy pieces. Over the years, I have found it exceptionally difficult to put together an outfit that successfully pulled it off; however, I have gained new inspiration after seeing this Fashionisto’s polished look.
This Fashionisto started out his outfit with a basic white T-shirt, and paired it with some tight-fitting black denim shorts. The simplicity of the shirt and shorts allow the patterned button up to shine. The subdued pattern of the shirt gives this Fashionisto the ability to make his outfit pop without making a huge statement. However, the contrast between the navy shirt and black shirts makes a huge statement of its own, and the addition of the white shirt underneath brings a sense of unity to the two clashing colors. For the rest of the outfit, he kept it light and simple so he did not take away from the central pieces of the look. On his feet, the Fashionisto put on a pair of gray sneakers, and for his eyes, he finished the look with a pair of stylish sunglasses.
