The turtleneck is a classic silhouette, dating back to the 1920s, and it has been prevalent in fashion ever since, each time coming back with a twist. There are so many variations of the turtleneck ranging in fits, fabrics and lengths. Among my favorites are the cropped turtleneck, the turtleneck dress and the oversized turtleneck. There is a certain sophisticated mod look that comes with the high neckline of fitted shirts and a slightly more relaxed air from a looser knit. Either way, a turtleneck can be worn all year round to add a touch of refinement into your look.
