Happy December, Fashionistas/os! I’m not sure about other parts of the country but in Fayetteville the weather gods seemed to have skipped over the fall weather and went immediately into the winter cold recently. With the weather bouncing from season to season, dressing to go out can be tricky. Â I happened to run into this Fashionista in downtown Fayetteville sporting a super cute take on the ’70s palazzo pant.
The primary focus on this Fashionista’s look is her palazzo pants. Palazzo pants as well as super exaggerated flared pants are very trendy right now. I loved that she chose a simple black crop top to pair with these pants. I don’t know about you but the ultra-flared pants as well as the long lightweight vest remind me of something a modern day Jackie Burkhart from That 70’s Show would wear.  This Fashionista’s half-up half-down middle parted hairstyle really complements her contemporary ensemble.
I have been so partial to my straight leg skinny pants for so long that this trend was hard for me to embrace at first. Â Once you find the perfect pant or even jumpsuit, you too will be loving this recurring trend. This Fashionista is very petite so for other petite girls out there, add some platform pumps so your pant legs don’t drag. Â For the taller ladies, a fun 2-3 inch booty would look great with these pants.
