As spring approaches, it is becoming easier to say, “It’s time to drop the coats and go with something lighter.” Although there are still cold days here in Illinois, with the random 60 degree weather, it is only natural to want to wear something light.
College campuses are home to all kinds of styles. A common style that is present in all, if not most college campuses, is the preppy style. Is the preppy style very basic? Preppy outfits are generally basic. They can easily stand out if the colors are chosen properly and if they are accented properly.
This Fashionista paired her white blouse with black leggings and black riding boots. As far as the colors go, she chose to wear neutral colors and then accent her look with the purple vest. Preppy outfits are not my forte, but this Fashionista’s outfit really stood out to me. The hint of color is sure to catch anyone’s attention; it did not fail to catch mine. To finish off her look and to add another hint of excitement to her outfit, this Fashionista wore a Michael Kors watch. The watch complements this outfit. It makes this Fashionista clean up well. Most importantly, it makes her look as though she is ready to tackle any challenge and to reach any endeavor that the day may throw at her.
