Spring is here! But if you’re looking at the weather reports around the country, that’s not very convincing. Even if the weather isn’t very spring like for some people, spring is here for the South. This spring, there are a couple of colors that are trending and light rose is one of them. This color can give your outfit a sophisticated look and a girly touch. I found a Fashionista that started out spring early with some touches of light rose.
This week’s Fashionista has put together an outfit that is perfect for a cooler spring day. From head to toe, she is keeping warm and added a touch of pink to make a spring look. Sometimes people cringe at the thought of pink. But this does not have to be the case, especially if you do it in small doses. It also all depends on how you dress it. Our Fashionista this week paired her pink jacket and shorts with some neutral colors to tone down the pink. The neutral colored blouse, boots and socks make this look less girly. She also added some nice rings to add her own personal touch.
For people that cringe at the thought of wearing pink, this is a good tip to use. Sometimes a color can be toned down by what you wear it with. Neutrals are a great choice to tone down something. There are other colors trending for spring, but a light rose or pink is a nice way to keep it feminine. Also, the intensity of the pink makes it easier to wear and matches better with other things. If you’re not too comfortable wearing pink, you can always have it only as a subtle touch to your look.
