It’s that time of the year again when your chemistry textbook becomes a second pillow and research papers are your best friends. After a month of much needed vacation time, you are finally back on campus and you’re either incredibly excited to see your friends again or stressed out about all the work you have to get done. However, that is not the only thing happening this time of year. College students, especially in the Los Angeles area, are gearing up for music festival season. Since it’s still a little chilly outside, students are bundled up around campus. Luckily, it’s possible to show off festival fashion while staying warm and comfortable.
This can be done by ring layering. This Fashionista played with rings of all sorts of textures while still keeping the look uniform with the same metal color. Silver rings really stand out against a colorful outfit like the one she’s wearing. The rings make a bold statement while not distracting from the navy blue and mint color of her cardigan and pants. The whole outfit is then pulled together with some cute and functional combat boots.
Layering rings is not only fun, but versatile. While a Fashionista can dress up a sweater and pants with them, she can also pair the rings with a flowy dress and some funky ankle boots. There is no end to how a person can play with their look while “ringing” in a new semester, year and season of music festivals.
