We’ve all gone through phases of wearing the same outfit over and over again. Why not take inspiration from a classic cartoon and television character Wednesday Addams. This character’s look is rather severe, but by putting a modern spin on it, this Fashionista created a daring and trendy outfit that reflects her everyday style.
The famous Wednesday Addams has often inspired many Fashionista/os to create their own unique look. In a throwback to the 1991 movie The Addams Family with Christina Ricci portraying Wednesday Addams, this Fashionista decided to shake up her wardrobe for the day.
In The Addams Family, Wednesday wore an iconic black dress with a white collar and two braids that represent her signature look. In order to put a more a contemporary spin on Wednesday’s look, this Fashionista decided to go with black overalls, a white crop top and flowery Dr. Martens. The black overalls makes the whole outfit feel quirky. The flowery Dr. Martens add some personality and color to the simple outfit. Not to mention, she styled her hair in two braids to complete the overall look that was inspired by Wednesday.
If you don’t feel like wearing overalls, try wearing a casual black dress instead. Pairing the dress with cute black flats also works using Wednesday as an inspiration. Wear the flats with cute stockings if it’s chilly outside.
