Rompers are a major summer trend that can be worn to countless different events such as date nights, concerts, bridal showers and even weddings. The structures and patterns of rompers are endless, and lucky for us fashion-forward gals, these sassy one-piece statements can be styled casual or dressy.
Keep in mind, however, that the style of the romper can look different from person to person depending on your body type. For example, I am very petite and have a short torso, which means I can’t rock most rompers because they swallow me up. For girls who have height on their side, some rompers end up being too short to wear out in public if you know what I mean! As a result, I have decided that my style advice of the week is to give you Fashionistas tips on how to find the perfect romper for your body type!
For us gals on the shorter side, I would suggest shopping for a romper that cinches at the waist. Another tip would be to pair your romper with wedges to elongate your body, making the romper appear slightly longer and more flattering. A romper that might better suit taller gals is the high-neck romper. This look is so trendy right now that I think just about every girl, regardless of height, is obsessed. The high-neck romper on a taller frame is not only flattering but allows the confident wearer to show off her trendy side. Pair it with some gladiator sandals and bangles for the perfect night out look.
If you ask me, any girl, short or tall, can work a flowy romper. This style is one of my favorites! Flowy rompers resemble dresses but are cut and styled as a romper. I have one and am in love. I paired my PPLA romper with cowboy boots and a kimono for a perfect summer concert look.
