Rompers: you can’t leave the house without seeing one these days. Their popularity has skyrocketed over the last couple of years and for good reason. It feels as if every store I walk in during this time of year showcases all sorts of rompers. Last summer, when the trend really hit hard, I wasn’t exactly on the bandwagon. I did not want to give into the look I saw on so many. However, I realized rompers create so many possibilities and gave them a shot, and I’m glad I did. I don’t feel as if I’m following the crowd when I wear them because there are so many different styles to choose from. This Fashionista took her own twist on a simple romper look.
She started with a LOFT black romper with some embroidery around the chest. The frills along the sleeves and bottom add some cute details while the thick elastic band cinches the waist. This Fashionista was on her way to work so the loose fit and neckline made this piece the perfect choice. Her accessories are my favorite part about this look. The delicate arm candy, cool cluster of rings and the simple layered necklaces all tie together and give the look some dimension. She chose some cute sandals to complete the look. Rompers are all about versatility; you can dress them up or down making them transition from day to night easily. The variety of styles of rompers is huge and they are super comfortable as I’m sure most of us know.
