The romper trend has been under some speculation since they made their return in the stores in the last year or so. People seem to either love rompers with a burning passion or loathe the trend immensely. I find rompers to be the quintessential go-to outfit for a hot summer day. My summer wardrobe currently includes about six rompers ranging from casual to dressy. Rompers can either be dressed up for Sunday brunch or dressed down for a day at the park.
This Fashionista sported a floral romper on a sizzling 100 degree day in Orlando, Florida. Her white romper with purple accents pops against her tan enhancing her summer glow. The purple flowers on the romper give the romper that summer vibe making it perfect for any summer event. This Fashionista paired her romper with tan and white wedges to elongate her legs making the romper the focal point of her outfit. She kept her jewelry simple with diamond stud earrings.
Rompers are perfect for the summer season but they can be worn all year round. A romper is a perfect transitioning piece that can go from summer to fall. Rompers can be paired with knee-high socks and floppy hats during the fall. Rompers can also be paired with booties and cardigans for the fall season. To transition wearing a romper into winter, try pairing one with tights and knee-high boots for those colder months.
What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “Spice up your summer style with a colorful romper. They catch people’s eye and make a statement that isn’t uncomfortable.”
