One of the biggest challenges for me as a fellow Fashionista is having a simple look that still looks fashionable. You know, the “oh I didn’t try too hard but I look really good” outfit. As Fashionistas/os, we all know we have days where we don’t want to try too hard but still want to look good. This Fashionista did just that. She used basic clothing items to make an outfit that embodies the perfect combination between simple and fashionable.
While she could have paired the white T-shirt with jean shorts she decided to go with a pair of printed shorts. With her casual outfit she wears a pair of gold sandals and accessorizes with Ray-Ban mirror sunglasses. She also incorporates other gold accessories such as a monogrammed necklace and a Michael Kors watch. What is great about her outfit is that it’s not only comfortable, but it is also great for the weather. She’s wearing a light color on the top which is ideal for the heat, and shorts which of course are a summer must-have.
A white T-shirt is a closet staple that can be paired with many clothing items. If you’re looking for some print, don’t forget palazzo pants are also a big trend this summer. They come in many prints and colors and can still be paired with a simple white top.
What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “I like to throw on clothes quickly before class. Wearing prints can make your outfit fashionable without trying too hard. It’s easy to grab a pair of shorts and a shirt and accessorize it to make it look better.”
