As someone who can count the number of times she wore sneakers on high school on one hand, it’s clear I have not opened my arms to the recent athletic wear trend. The trend reminds me of a term we might recall from our tween or teen days, “sneakerhead.” Urban Dictionary defines a sneakerhead as one who collects limited or exclusive kicks and maintains knowledge of all hip new sneakers.
