New York City has bloomed with delicate cherry blossoms and vibrant tulips. Suddenly there’s nature and color dressing up the cityscape. A stroll on Park Avenue on a spring fulfilled afternoon will take our minds off temporarily from the approaching, dreadful finals week. That’s why this week I have a Fashionista who shares her way of dressing for the scenery in a feminine and neutral spring ensemble.
Her outfit revolves around light neutral tones with black accessories. She wears a pretty lace top with floral patterns under a pin stripe dress shirt. The shirt adds a pleasant touch of pastel blue. She pairs the tops with white destroyed jeans that match the fresh and light palette. She layers a light coat over since it still gets chilly throughout the day. The Fashionista dresses up her outfit with a classic and coveted Daniel Wellington watch and black high heel sandals. It’s finally warm enough for sandals and her pair isn’t too high for lack of comfort. She completes the pretty outfit with a camel hat that’s perfect for spring.
The weather has been great for outdoor activities. So take your books outside and enjoy some daylight and sunshine. Definitely try out this Fashionista’s outfit pairing. Light neutrals are always pleasing to pair together.
What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “The harsh winter and city murkiness may not have motivated someone to dress up, but the arrival of summer and the promise of sun-filled days is sure to inspire anyone to let loose their best attire. I hope this outfit will embolden new clothing ideas in you.”
