Now that the weather has finally transitioned into chilly and cool, it is time to pull out the sweaters from the back of your closet. Back in high school, a “sweater” for me was a dingy, old crewneck from Goodwill (I’m cringing just thinking about it). I’m sure glad those days are over, because I have realized how trendy and cute a real sweater can be. I am so glad I found this Fashionista who truly knows how to style a sweater.
Even though this Fashionista is rocking this cardigan-style sweater, it’s still a sweater. That’s the thing about sweaters recently; they can be any style. Celebrities have been spotted wearing sweater dresses, college students are sporting oversized sweaters, and even Forever21 is selling sweater crop tops (although I’m not sure how much these will really keep you warm).
Sweaters this season are coming in all shapes and sizes, which makes shopping for them all the more fun. This Fashionista got her particular sweater on an online clothing site, boohoo.com. She swears by this sweater and loves to toss it over a tank top, which makes transitioning from warmer to colder weather that much easier. She loves to pair it with a classic pair of Levi’s, but claims it’s still very cute with leggings, too. This Fashionista also added some trendy, lace pumps to give it that date night feel. So whether you are lounging in an off-the-shoulder sweater or headed out for a night on the town with a laced-up sweater, have fun rocking your favorite sweater this season.
