As I’m sure everyone knows by now, I’m all about combining comfort and style to the best of my ability. I enjoy creating looks that would be suitable for lounging around the house, while also being acceptable for going out in public. That’s one of the main reasons that, when I saw this Fashionisto, I knew I had to get a few photos of him.
There’s something about a leather jacket that makes anyone look tough, even “edgy”, dare I say. Then again, there’s something about a sweatshirt that can make a person not want to leave bed all day and it shows. For these reasons, some might think that combining these two very different pieces would be a disaster—think again. The warmth and comfort of a sweatshirt paired with the appearance of a leather jacket is a match made in fashion heaven.
This Fashionisto paired his leather jacket/sweatshirt hybrid from Hollister with a pair of dark wash jeans and white Vans sneakers. He also had a blue Neff beanie to add a pop of color to his look, but elected not to wear it for his photos as a result of the warmer than usual January weather. Each of the pieces that this Fashionisto selected were simple, but together they created a classic and fashion-forward look.
