Lately, I have been noticing that a lot of students around campus (both guys and girls) are wearing floral prints. Without a doubt, floral prints are essential for spring. Floral prints can be easily paired with any items if you think about it. Although patterned prints can be tricky in a sense that can overwhelmed an overall look, I believe that if it is paired with something subtle, then it can make that one item pop. That is exactly what this Fashionista did.
This Fashionista wears a pink blouse with a white knit cardigan to cover herself for the chilly weather. The softness of the pink makes her look extremely sweet, yet the look is still casual with the added pair of tight skinny jeans. As for accessories, she went for a champagne metallic Kipling backpack. The metallic backpack blends well with her attire and adds more casualness to the whole look. Lastly, she chooses comfort over fashion with black Nike Air shoes.
She looks perfect for spring by choosing two of my personal favorite spring trends: pastels and florals. This Fashionista was able to combine the two trends together effortlessly, yet was still able to retain her individual style.
What is YOUR STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “I think choosing the right color for an outfit is crucial. I think if you choose a color like red, you need to find other, softer colors to balance it out. Unless you choose to be bold. I think I really go for the soft colors because I like how it looks on me and it fits my personal style.”
