Living in Florida, our seasons are usually just hot, really hot, scorching hot and less hot, so actual seasons don’t really apply to us. Bohemian or boho has become the trend for Floridians since it’s a trend that we can use year-round (even in the “winter” days that we have). This style has been popular since the ’70s but recently, it has been hitting the runways and Pinterest boards everywhere.
This Fashionista’s outfit was the perfect description of boho with a hint of chic. This outfit revolves around a white cold shoulder dress which she paired with some cognac colored booties and cream colored socks. Having neutral makeup and natural hair also added to the look. This dress is extremely versatile and can be worn with any shoes or accessories. This Fashionista is extremely fashion-forward and isn’t scared to show off her favorite styles! The style of knee-high socks has become a very popular trend, but she decided to scrunch them down to give it a more casual look. The outfit shows simplicity because of its neutral palette and simple clothing pieces, but shows uniqueness because the boho style is sometimes hard to pull off! She also added some extra accessories like the leather quartz choker and the signature Alex and Ani bangles that are featured in every one of my blog posts.
And guys—we can’t forget something really important about this Fashionista: her hair, which is the definition of bohemian and hippie!
What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “If you find a style that interests you, such as rocker-chic or bohemian, go for it. Never be scared to try something because you’ll never know how much you like it. For new styles, confidence is key. If you want to wear a black lip and leather jacket, wear it. If you want to rock a pair of gladiator sandals and a suede dress, rock it. Wear whatever you want to wear because the world is your runway!”
