With the temperature dwindling down and the month of August starting, it’s almost impossible to forget that summer is coming to a close. If you’re anything like me, this thought is always fighting to be noticed but you continue to push it to the back of your mind. However, there is still some time to accomplish all your summer style goals! One of my final fashion statements is definitely rocking some pastel colors.
If you’ve been keeping up with my articles, quirky and bright pieces are a common theme. When I saw these Fashionista’s pastel color-blocking shorts, I just knew I needed to write about them. Not only are these shorts unique, but also they’re the perfect piece for when you want to stand out without trying too hard. Sometimes we have to take a step back and keep it simple, which I am definitely in favor of when it comes to statement pieces. By pairing these shorts with a plain white tank top and aviator sunglasses, the pastel colors are the main focus of the look. The color-blocking is also a very on-trend style, which adds a modern flair to the overall ensemble.
Standing out in pastels is perfect for the month of August because it allows us to still be summery without an abundance of super bright colors. This Fashionista exhibits this ideal end of summer look with this outfit and I can’t wait to replicate it in my own wardrobe. Although I’m disappointed that summer is coming to an end, at least I have this fun outfit to perk me up and make the most out of the last few weeks of my favorite season!
