Chilly weather has finally decided to make its debut this fall here in Florida, and it seems that everyone is taking advantage of bringing out their winter wear just in time for the holidays.
While some students go for a “sweat pants, hair tied, chillin’ with no make-up on” look, there’s always Fashionistas/os that always seem to catch my eye and never let finals get in their way of dressing to impress. This is exactly what my style advice for you is: don’t let finals get you down. Throw on those killer thigh-high boots and strut into the holidays in style!
Thigh-high boots have been on the top of every Fashionista’s must-have list for quite some time now–even for us Florida kids. The key to surviving warmer weather and still getting to wear our favorite fall items is to opt out jeans and layers for a skirt or thinner materials, just like this fellow Fashionista did. An all black tank top and skirt with an olive-colored coat just screams chic. This Fashionista decided to tie the look together with a gold choker and subtle makeup. How’s that for a statement? The awesome thing about this look and fall colors in general, is that you can rock it from day-to-night!
Just because the rest of your campus or town decides to dress down, I always have appreciation for Fashionistas/os who aren’t afraid to show their true style. Throw together these fall essentials like this Fashionista did, and maybe you’ll encourage others to do so as well!
