Hello, Fashionistas and Fashionistos! I am going to be sharing some superb street style and fun trends from Spain with you for the next five weeks. My summer will be spent in Barcelona and the beautiful beach town of Segur de Calafell where I am visiting family, touring the city and sunning myself daily by the waters of the Mediterranean. The styles that I have found so far are absolutely stunning and I am so excited to share all that I have found. The looks here are simple; the heat and humidity is all consuming so the breezier, the better.
Today I found this lovely Fashionista rocking the tribal trend on the boardwalk. Her crop top feels very ‘90s, but is made modern with a lovely geometric print that is paired with an equally striking skater skirt. I love her bold mixing of prints; mismatching is one of my own style staples and I am always so excited to see others who feel the same.
Since we all know that too much sun is no fun, hats are an accepted wardrobe essential here. A bright white fedora is a great way to keep cool while always remaining fashionable. Sunglasses and sunscreen are always in my purse, as well as a bikini. To be honest, my darlings, I was in my bikini when I tracked down this Fashionista. Her style was only slightly intimidating next to my own.
My favorite part of this Fashionista’s outfit has got to be her tattoo. The metallic shine is a gorgeous touch and perfectly complements the rest of her tribal look. It’s one that I am definitely going to copy. Her cross-body bag beautifully brings out the blue of her tiny top and is a great added pop of color.
All in all, this is a very bold look that is perfect for summer. The colors are bright; the patterns are fun and added pieces like metallic tattoos and fun fedoras capture the essence of this colorful and historic city.
