Transitioning from summer to fall requires certain pieces in order to adjust to the weather smoothly. One way to do this is to utilize transition pieces! This way, when the weather is constantly changing, you don’t have to fully sacrifice what you want to wear that day.
My Fashionista is rocking a grunge look today and is wearing a few transitioning pieces in her outfit. One huge piece to pull out of your closet is the army green jacket, which can easily turn any outfit from a summer look to fall look. What I like about this jacket is that it is lightweight and it isn’t made with heavy fabric. This way, it makes it an easy piece to wear even it is hot. Another piece is my Fashionista’s black booties, which are unique because of the slightly pointed edges of the boot. Lastly, mix and matching with jewelry pulls the outfit together and completes the fall outfit. With these pieces, getting ready and dressing for the weather will be easier. On top of that, not having to change your whole outfit will come in handy and it pushes you to create more creative outfits in the future!
My Fashionista’s style advice of the week is easy enough to repeat. She advised all other Fashionistas living in the warmer climates to opt in for shorts instead of jeans—especially in Southern California, where the weather gets hotter during fall weather instead of colder. My Fashionista is all in for the idea that less is more, and you should be too!
