It’s no secret that the dreaded winter of the Midwest is finally showing its head. A high temperature of zero degrees, believe it or not, CAN have its perks! The freezing temperatures call for all of winter’s pleasures: hot chocolate, blankets, cable knit sweaters and most importantly UGGs.
UGGs have been around forever and it seems like they don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon. The brand has expanded tremendously over the years, adding different products, colors and embellishments that go against that classic short chestnut-colored boot that first launched UGGs into the closets of every woman in the early 2000s. Today the company has boots covered in sparkles, animal prints, bows, buttons, etc. One thing all of the boots have in common, however, is that luxurious fleece on the inside that keep our feet warm during these frigid months. Thank goodness for that fleece!
It is obvious that this Fashionista loves color almost as much as she loves her UGGs. This Fashionista brightened up the dreary streets of Chicago not only with her blue shades but with those bright pink UGG boots that looked like they had just been delivered by Santa himself. It is sometimes difficult to manage the feat of staying warm and looking fashionable at the same time, but this Fashionista makes it look way too easy. The precious pink boots with the satin bows attached on the back give the harsh winter a soft side.
UGGs are not confined to the snowy streets of Chicago, though. UGGs slippers are popular for prancing around the house. You can even take UGG with you to the beach with a strappy sandal. Shopping for a new apartment? Don’t miss out on UGG blankets and pillows. Who said UGGs were to be worn only on the feet? Carry UGG on your shoulder with a handbag, as well. The options to stay warm this winter are endless, so how will you defeat this cold snap with UGG?
What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “Staying warm in the city can be a challenge sometimes. I layer a lot and always make sure my UGGs match my outfit of the day!”
