I’m very much inspired by the people in this world who embrace their true selves. The wonderfully weird people are the ones who know how to go with the flow and take nothing for granted. They make me realize that life can’t be planned, so you might as well enjoy it being the person you truly are. This is one of the reasons why I just had to stop this Fashionisto on his way to class. He’s a man who is not afraid of being himself in any situation: I don’t think I’ve ever heard so many puns in my life before I spoke to him. The second reason why I stopped him was because I noticed all of the superhero symbols he was wearing. No one can pull off three superhero apparel items at once more casually than this man. I had to ask about why he had so many!
He told me, “Superheroes have always been a part of my life. They are the ones I’ve always looked up to when I was younger. I still do to this day. They all are different and unique with their own views on why they want to save our world. It’s a small reason why I want to be a Forensic Psychologist; I don’t like to see others suffering. I guess, in turn, I’d then become a hero myself, at least if I’m able to help them of course. And being from Norway, it also helps that Thor is a Nordic God. It gives me a little bit more of an excuse to like him.” There are no reasons for excuses when it comes to what you love, my good sir!
For rainy, cold days, like it was on this day, layering up is a perfect way to stay warm and be fashionable at the same time. To begin to mimic this look, you obviously need a Superhero graphic T-shirt. There are hundreds of superheroes out there, so it doesn’t have to be Spiderman! Next, layer on a button-down and then a leather jacket. A basic pair of dark wash jeans and Vans help to add to the simplicity of the outfit. Complete the look with accessories (preferably resembling a superhero) such as a watch or a necklace. The superheroes that he is representing in this look are Spiderman, Captain American and Thor (the necklace). But like a said before, there are so many to pick from. Hopefully this will inspire you to bring out your inner geek!
