As fall is fast approaching, it’s time to trade skirts for jeans and tank tops for turtlenecks. But, it’s still warm enough to use transition pieces to make your outfit perfect for weather that’s not too cold but also doesn’t have you beating the sweltering heat. For those of us that want something cute but also comfortable, you can’t go wrong with a three quarter sleeve top and pair of cute patterned shorts. You can still wear attention-grabbing clothes without having bright colors. The geometric shapes on her shorts stand out and create contrast. Patterned shorts have been a huge trend and this Fashionista takes them into fall by wearing darker colors and neutrals.
She rocked these black and white shorts from H&M with this shirt from Marshall’s. I love how she kept her shirt simple and added the statement necklace from Forever 21. She also had a pair of shoes from T.J. Maxx which has embellishments that coincided with her necklace. The bag from Michael Kors is definitely campus appropriate, it can hold everything! The handbag and the necklace pull this outfit together. The shorts are definitely the main focus of this outfit and the pieces that she paired with them made her look completely fall ready. Once the temperature drops, she can throw on a pair of black tights and sport the same outfit in cooler weather!
