We all know that finding the best pair of jeans and having them actually fit is extremely difficult in this day and age. It’s like your aunt Peggy who’s a hoarder trying to find her favorite cat sweater in her junky home. Even if that is so, why not customize a pair to make them the pair that has been in your denim dreams and that needs to be coveted? This is exactly what this dashing Fashionisto has done.
Generally, raw edge jeans have been made for showing off pieces such as your awesome suede boots from Y’s Yves Saint Laurent by cutting near the hem, but they have started to break away from the pairing of boots, and now look just as fantastic with any type of shoe! This Fashionisto stuck to the classic style and wore his raw edge hem jeans with to die for Dr. Marten Chelsea boots (and thus began my journey of bribing him to let me have them). As well, since it was chilly out, this Fashionisto wore his olive bomber jacket and threw on some amazing Top Gun-inspired shades to match.
The militaristic-grunge look gives off chic and bold vibes, because of the way the Fashionisto mixes it all together. There is such an amazing feel to his ensemble and he makes such a dull look have a creative spin as well. The gingham does just that, and brings the outfit to life, giving a spring and summer finish to it. We can’t forget the awesome embroidered cap! It really puts the whole street style look together and makes for a fun and dynamic look.
What’s most amazing is that the look was flowing with individuality and had its own beat to it. It mixed spring looks with military ones, and it all came to look beyond fantastic. It also makes one want to start up a DIY project! Don’t get mad if you ruin your beloved jeans though.
