When we think about tie-dye the first thing that will come to our minds would probably be that classic mixture of red, blue, green, orange and yellow. The creation of those colors together making the classic spiral formation we’ve all come to know. However, this summer, tie-dye has grown up from this. It’s not all about those classic T-shirts we all have in our wardrobe. It’s about more sophisticated and grown up version of that. We can now find our favorite classic tie-dye designs in just one simple color or different shades of colors in many dresses, shirts and shorts.
This Fashionista’s tie-dye trend was all about her flowy dress. The dress has many patterns of the classic tie-dye mixed in throughout it. The main color is cream in the dress, but the tie-dye is all in black. The placement of not just one big design but having it spread out through the whole dress is what makes the look. The dress has some thicker straps at the top and goes down having a sort of high low effect to it. She kept her accessories simple with a black and white Birkenstocks and some earrings. She let the dress do all the talking in this look and let it be the main focal point.
What is your STYLE ADVICE OF THE WEEK? “I like to center my outfit around one thing, in this case the dress. I like to let that stand out and shine and then add accessories to complement and complete the look.”
