I found this Fashionisto enjoying a stroll through a local museum on a sunny Sunday afternoon. When he walked through the glass doors, his aura seemed to stand out in the crowd of black-attired art aficionados. As he admired and analyzed each piece of art carefully, I couldn’t help but do the same with his classic ensemble.
“Brilliant,” I thought to myself. Finally a much needed classic take on the casual “blue jeans, white shirt” look, as said by singer Lana Del Rey. I was impressed by how effortlessly this Fashionisto pulled off a knotted sweater over his shoulders. A look that, since most of our parents, has long been forgotten. However, this Fashionisto brings back the trend in the most refreshing way. His navy blue knotted sweater worn over a classic white button-down is not only perfect for his afternoon museum visit, but also for his date night that was to follow. The perfect excuse to make sure you have a sweater to share, if I do say so myself.
Now, in the season of joggers, his cobalt skinny chinos definitely stood out. Although they are hard to pull off, colored chinos have the ability to dress up any casual look. Cuffed at just the right height, chinos are a sure win for an easy day to night ensemble. This Fashionisto chose to pair his chinos with black casual loafers. Aside from his loafers, his black watch added to the look’s overall sophistication. Extremely appropriate for a museum gallery opening, this Fashionisto nailed every element of this look.
