This winter has been anything but freezing so far this year. With the days being not so snowy or super chilly, it leaves room to show off your outfit and your accessories, especially. Due to the temperature, you can mix your favorite fall/winter pieces to create the most weather appropriate yet trendy outfits.
I spotted this Fashionista on a sunny yet slightly chilly day. It felt like fall even though winter has started long ago. She looked cozy, comfy, and trendy despite the strange temperatures for the time of year.
This Fashionista was rocking a tan fringed-bottom sweater paired with maroon leggings. She found the sweater at Marshall’s for under twenty dollars which is a steal! To add some detail and warmth to her look, she tied a plaid blanket scarf to create a makeshift infinity scarf. She paired her clothing with a pair of black ankle booties with gold accents. She added some extra warmth and detail with a pair of brown wool socks peeking out the top of her booties. To top off the look, she sported a black faux leather jacket from Forever 21 and some everyday string bracelets and a ring.
By incorporating fall pieces from her wardrobe (the leather jacket and ankle boots) with pieces from her winter wardrobe (the plaid scarf and brown wool socks), she combined the style of two seasons to be both comfortable, toasty, and stylish!
Combing your favorites pieces from your fall and winter wardrobes is a great way to feel like you’ve purchased new pieces when in reality you’re just incorporating them into ensembles they wouldn’t usually be a part of!
