On a campus full of college students, it’s easy to get lost in the mix. A great deal of students tend to dress casual while attending classes all day and don’t put much energy into their ensemble. That’s why this look caught my eye. Who wouldn’t appreciate the effort put into this outfit? It’s no secret that everyone has at least a few unique pieces of clothing in their closet, so why not put them to use? This Fashionista makes us all want to upgrade our wardrobe.
For this look, she paired a burgundy bralette with a crotchet top. When wearing a crochet or lace top, you of course have to wear something under it, but you don’t want something with full coverage to take away from the detail. That’s why putting a bralette under this staple piece can make it an edgier look, but still provide enough coverage. She then layered a brown suede vest on top (layers are a must-have for this season) which matches her boots perfectly. Having something on the top of your body match with something on the bottom, like your shoes, is a distinctive way of making your whole outfit look balanced.
What really stands out in this ensemble is her “star-studded” bell-bottom jeans. Celebrities, like Kendall Jenner, have been seen wearing these Revice Denim jeans and you can find them at an affordable price! The seam down the middle of each pant leg curves well with the body. They’re also super high-waisted, so pair them with a crop top or tuck in your shirt to expose the full pant. The star on the back-side is the highlight of these pants. It adds an extra flare that you don’t normally see with your everyday jeans.
As college students, we may not always have the time or energy to put together an outfit like this daily, but let’s hope it gives you motivation to start trying! Pull those hardly-worn, unique pieces out of your wardrobe and give them a whirl! Don’t be afraid to turn heads.
