As we very slowly transition into spring, we still need to bring a coat with us every where we go. I’m not complaining about this, coats and jackets always bring an outfit together for me! Before we enter the warmer months, one trend I’ve been loving this season is the trench coat. They are very versatile, as you can dress them either up or down, depending on the occasion.
This Fashionista is wearing a very transitional outfit, which works for during the day as well as out at night. Her cut-off blue jeans allow her look to be a bit casual, for an everyday ensemble, but her lace-up block heels dress it up a little bit and could take her from school or work to a night out on the town. She takes a classic every day look and adds the trench coat, as well as the shoes to make it professional. This could work for an interview, class presentation, an office job or internship.
One of my favorite elements of the entire look happens to be her blouse. The classic button-down just became even more stylish with an on trend stripe pattern, as well as a cut-out cold shoulder. She told me she loved the blouse because it was a modern take on a simple, classic staple. The Fashionista tied her look together with a metal hardware belt and a simple necklace, definitely two of my favorite go to accessories!
You can try this look out too! Simply wear a pair of distressed denim jeans with a button-down shirt, topped with a casual trench coat and finish the look with a pair of lace-up heels!
