Here in Utah Valley we are surrounded by gorgeous snow capped mountains and keeping warm, while still looking decent, is a struggle. It’s so easy to toss on sweats and a hoodie to go to classes, work, or run errands, but it is still possible to be warm and comfy while still looking stylish!
The key to staying warm while looking stylish is layers of sweaters, vests, and fun coats! Also, it is still possible to wear dresses and skirts in the winter! Pair them up with some over the knee socks or tights, topped off with cute boots, and you are good to go.
This Fashionista is a student at BYU, studying graphic design. She is wearing all the essentials that combine cute and comfortable. She is sporting a gray turtleneck sweater layered with a tan wool coat. This sweater and coat combination looks so chic and is still incredibly warm. Since the Fashionista was out and about running errands, she dressed the outfit down to be more casual with American Eagle Outfitters distressed jeans and white Adidas Superstar shoes.
Some other items that can be included with this outfit are a leather or suede baseball cap, to emphasize the more casual look, and a black mini leather backpack. The sweater and coat can also be dressed up with a body con skirt and heels or boots for a more formal look.
I love versatile looks, and this outfit can be altered and shaped to fit various settings. The casual yet classy feel makes the outfit look so effortlessly good.
