If you are anything like me, you are sick of gross, cold, and boring weather. The winter is a gloomy time and I am 100 percent over it. I’m not a huge fan of the winter as it is, but the cold and boring colors do not exactly help the situation. This is why I am so excited to bring you this article!
The Fashionista featured in the article also happens to be a Style Guru. It was a really cool experience being able to work with another Style Guru. She also happens to be one of my best friends. For this shoot I traveled to Chicago, Illinois, where she attends Columbia Chicago. Taking pictures in the city was really cool because it helped to make the colors her main feature. The Fashionista is sporting a colorful dress that I absolutely love. I went ahead and found a colorful dress for you guys. Colors are the best for spring, especially with all of the flowers starting to bloom.
Next, one thing that this Fashionista and I have in common is our love for makeup. Since I wanted to stick to a vibrant theme, I felt the need to apply lots of glitter to her face. I’m very much attracted to shiny things so I love glittery makeup. The glitter used on her eye is From Stila and then we applied some glitter to the high points of her check bones and near the brows as well.
The spring is all about seeing the new flowers bloom and their beautiful colors. What better way to celebrate that than by wearing vibrant colors and to represent all those flowers! I can’t wait to see you in my next article.
