Hey! I’m Abbie! I’m currently a freshman at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois, but I’m originally from Ottawa Hills, Ohio. I’m studying Economics in the business school at DePaul, and I’m planning on attending law school after I graduate.
In my free time, I love to blog about my style and outfits. I first got into blogging through Instagram and following several famous fashion bloggers. This inspired me to be more creative with my own outfits and to start my own fashion blog. I continue to be inspired with fashion and the powerful affect that what you wear can have on your self-expression. People often tell me that I’m always dressed up, but I live by the saying: dress good, feel good.
Besides blogging, I really enjoy traveling, crafting, hanging out with my family, keeping up with politics and working on my Pinterest boards. I love traveling to different places and learning and experiencing different cultures. These experiences remind me that there’s a whole world out there, and there’s always more to experience and learn. I also love to craft in my free time. However, my crafts don’t always turn out the way they looked online (lol).
Another huge part of my life is my family. I have a twin sister and an older sister that both live in Chicago with me. My sisters are my best friends, and I can count on them for anything.
I would describe my style as pretty preppy and super feminine. I love to layer on the accessories, as you can see above. The outfit I’m wearing in the pictures above almost perfectly outlines my personal style. I paired a simple black turtleneck with a striped skirt and riding boots for a more dressy style that is perfect for the holidays. I added a scarf and jewelry to this outfit to accessorize and pull the outfit together.
