Hey friends! My name’s Abby and this is my first semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista. I’ve wanted to be a fashion blogger since I was a junior in high school, so here we are, going into my second semester of my sophomore year writing for a college fashion blog. I’m still searching to find out what I want to do with the rest of my life and I’ve changed my major a few times now, but I’ll figure it out eventually.
You could say my style has changed quite a bit: I used to be the girl wearing preppy orange blazers to high school. As I look at my closet now, there’s nothing but black, gray and white. I practically live in my black ripped jeans (I won’t say whether or not I’ve taken them off since I got them). Neutrals have become my best friends: pair them differently each time you wear them and no one notices you’re wearing the same outfit you wore two days ago. Plus, a little accessorizing goes a long way.
When I’m not wearing yoga clothes you can find me wearing some killer jeans, a comfy sweater and some booties. I chose to shoot my staple pieces, like this black sweater, my black ripped jeans I mentioned above (that I still haven’t taken off as I write this), the amazing blanket scarf that I could talk about forever and the new booties I’m obsessed with. The booties get rotated out for my black ones every so often and the jeans sometimes turn into gray ones, but for the most part this is my go-to style.
I’m so excited to write as a Style Guru this semester, thanks for stopping by!
