Hello Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Abigail Bizzarro and I am a sophomore at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. I am majoring in marketing and minoring in communications, and this is my third semester writing for CollegeFashionista – isnt that crazy?! I still feel like I am still a freshman!
If anything, my shopping addiction has intensified since I came to Philadelphia. Whether I am just walking the sidewalks of my campus or taking an adventure into the city with my friends, I find inspiration everywhere I go! If I see an outfit I like while out and about, I go home that night and try to recreate it with the stuff I have in my closet. The inspiration is endless and it feeds my shopping addiction like no other. That is why bargain hunting is what I live for! With an ever decreasing college budget, finding a great deal on something I have had my eyes on for a while is a mild obsession of mine.
Style evolves every day in some way or form. Back in high school, I was drawn to bright colors and bold prints. I questions my sanity sometimes when thinking back on some of the outfits I used to wear. Nowadays, I gravitate towards anything that has a minimalistic vibe. Almost every day in the winter, you can find me wearing boots or booties, a chunky sweater, a statement jacket and a scarf. I like to throw in a bright pink lip to brighten my mood during the cold winter days. Also, because I am from Vermont, my collection of coats and boots is endless; My motto is “if the shoe fits, buy it!”
I am beyond excited to see what this semester has in store for me! I’m eager to follow the new trends and see what all you Philly Fashionistas/os are wearing! Be sure to check back here every month for a new post!
