I am a sophomore at Kent State University and I am a major in fashion merchandising! Kent State has provided me with so many amazing opportunities in the fashion industry. I have a new found love of fashion shows and I have had many opportunities to volunteer recently. I was able to be a dresser in Kent Fashion Week and it was such an amazing opportunity that I encourage everyone to try!
Fashion is such a creative and artistic industry and I love being able to express myself through my clothes and accessories! As you’ll see, I love the ’70s and bohemian styles, they represent my personality so well. My favorite clothing items that I own are ones I have thrifted. There is just something about wearing clothes that have so much of a story to tell. I am so excited to see the trends of summer 2016 and am hoping to see a lot of florals, neutrals and vintage styles!
My shoes, cross-body bag and blouse are from T.J. Maxx. They were all on clearance so what could be better? This outfit was a fun, casual and cute style that was perfect for walking around town. The flowy blouse is a perfect summer piece and the chunky heels are a must! The cross-body bag is perfect to carry everything needed from a water bottle to stay hydrated to a makeup bag for touchups throughout the day.
