Hey Fashionistas/os! I hope everyone had an awesome, adventure-filled summer! My summer was filled with front porch tea drinking, puppy cuddles, binge watching makeup tutorials, trips to the zoo, avocado toast, sushi dates with my (really cute) boyfriend and endless pictures of nature, food and friends.
This will be my second time with CollegeFashionista and I am so excited to start this fall semester! I am a sophomore at Kent State University with a major in Fashion Merchandising. Just like most of you reading this, I love fashion, photography and blogging. Beyond the fashion world, I enjoy reading, exploring nature, skateboarding, listening to music, trying new makeup looks and plants (I have 15 in my room right now; it’s not like I’m obsessed or anything).
To describe my style in a few words I would say, simplistic, vintage and bohemian. I love clothes that are comfy but still scream style. I am an avid Goodwill junkie and love finding gems at local flea markets or little vintage shops tucked away in small towns. My go-to look is an ’80s band tee, some ripped jeans and a pair of Converse. In the fall, I’ll throw a denim jacket or a men’s XL flannel on top. Hey, I said I like comfy and come on, what is more comfortable than a flannel that is five sizes too big? My wardrobe right now consists of army greens, whites, blacks and denim. I definitely stick to earth tones and neutrals. In this look, I am wearing this adorable mini skirt from Urban Outfitters and it is one of the only two red items I own in my closet. Can you believe that? Maybe I should expand my color scheme, but every time I go shopping I come home with a bag full of army green and black items of clothing. I just can’t help myself!
I hope you enjoyed getting to know me a little better and be sure to keep an eye out for my future posts. Thanks for reading! Have a RAD fall.
