Hey everyone! I am so ecstatic to be a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista! My name is Alex Owens, and I’m an art student at Webster University. I enjoy all forms of art, but my focus is in printmaking and performance. After I graduate, my goal is to own an art gallery and to start a stationary business with my best friend.
I spend most of my time making art and sassy remarks, but I can also be found cooking vegetarian meals, watching obscure movies or reading existential novels. I like cats, puns, dinosaurs and videos of babies eating lemons. I dislike maple syrup, butt-dialing, intolerance and people who talk too much in an art museum. People have called me a culinary elitist, cheese curd and carb queen. I’m cheesier than a four cheese pizza and I laugh at my own jokes.
There is no one word to describe my fashion. My style is eclectic and constantly changing. Above, I am sporting a graphic button-up, green skinny jeans, combat boots and a vintage inspired ring. I am also wearing my favorite mascara, with gold eyeshadow and maroon lips. My button-up is embellished with tacos, showing my love for carbs and spicy food. I’m known for carrying a pocket sized bottle of Sriracha with me everywhere I go. My boots traveled with me around the globe, while I spent a semester abroad in Vienna, Austria.
