Hi there peeps. Now that you’re reading my bio, it’s only prudent that I introduce myself. My name is Alexandra, but I’m “commonly” known as Ale D-Dt and I’m a lover of all things pretty, yummy, inspiring; fashion, photography, architecture, travel, food, all of it! I am a 22-year-old Guatemalan girl with big dreams who just wants to leave her own little mark in the world. How exactly? I’m not sure yet, but I’m on the way of finding out (I think).
Boston has been my home for the past four years as I am a Graphic Design student at Northeastern University. Being in art school has made me look at things differently. It forces you to really pay attention and find inspiration in the world around you.
As a Style Guru, that is exactly what I’ve had to do these past months, and look forward to doing in the fall! Fall is the prettiest season in my opinion, and is the time where beautiful coats can be worn without a billion layers underneath. It’s not too chilly to be outside in your favorite “sweater weather” ensemble. Though I do love sundresses and their gorgeous fabrics, I can’t resist a knit sweater with ripped jeans and booties!
For this outfit, I chose to go with the best of both worlds. My favorite summer pieces, classic white tank top, hoop earrings and black mules, and what I hope will become my favorite fall pants; distressed, black, boyfriend jeans.
I can’t wait to start my Fashionista/o spotting adventure! Hope you all have a great semester; let the fall begin!
