Hi, college Fashionistas! My name is Alexandra, but feel free to call me Alex. I attend the University of Central Florida where I major in digital media with a web design focus. This is my first semester with CollegeFashionista and I am very excited to share all the fabulous street style around my campus.
I have always thought of my personal style as a blank canvas, drawing inspiration from my everyday surroundings and mood. I do not have a “specific” style, but honestly, I’m completely okay with that. Personal style varies on the individual and their journey. My personal style can range from bohemian to classic chic and that makes it all the more fun!
Affordability and comfort are my main priorities when styling an outfit. That is why I tend to mix thrifted finds with modern pieces to create a one-of-a-kind look. I’ve had the opportunity to work for vintage consignment stores, boutiques and resale shops managing their social media and working on floor displays. This experience has provided me with a different outtake on personal style and I am so eager to share that with you guys!
This look is all about the basics with a hint of boho in the mix. I decided to pair these black suede shorts with a chambray short sleeve, and a pair of black lace-up flats. To make the outfit complete, I decided to add a chunky turquoise necklace and mirrored sunglasses to complement the blue of the chambray shirt.
Cheers to a fabulous and stylish semester!
