Hi and happy summer to all! My name is Alexandra Mullane and I am currently a junior at the University of South Carolina. As a major in public relations with a minor in business, most of the fashion knowledge I get is from websites, blogs and my online shopping addiction.
If you ever have a class with me, you’ll notice that I always have a tab open to Revolve Clothing or some other online website. Aside from fashion, I am interested in traveling and seeing as much of the world as I can. This leads to me making the most of my summers. This summer I will be posting from Canada, Italy and South Carolina.
That being said, most of my fashion picks have to be as practical as they are fashionable since I’ll be living out of a suitcase. This works, as I am a big believer in quality over quantity when shopping. I would rather have one great handbag than two or three that don’t last.
As I once heard in a dressing room, “if you don’t love it, don’t buy it.” This is the saying I live by when shopping. The pickier you are, the more you love the pieces you actually end up buying.
Throughout the years, I have adapted this style because it is not only super practical, but it also makes everything in your closet fit together. This makes packing, mixing and matching so much easier.
I chose my first outfit to be simple on purpose. I wear the same watch and rings everyday, so I have to accessorize with the shoes, earrings, sunglasses and bag I choose. I like dresses because they not only make getting dressed easier, but are so easy to wear multiple different ways. This outfit is comfortable and perfect for exploring a new city for a day.
