Greetings fellow earthlings! My name is Alexandra Sanchez and I enjoy long walks on the beach and cold brew coffee.
This is my first semester interning with the CollegeFashionista team and as my college career dwindles to a frightening close, I am excited to wrap up my school year sharing my love of fashion with you all! I will be graduating from the University of San Francisco this May and cannot wait to share the endless looks and inspiration I come across in this wonderfully creative and eccentric city.
Despite my love for all things colorful, I rarely pull together an outfit that isn’t built around black. Some people call it laziness (clearly they have never sorted through mountains of clothes to find the correct matching shades of black); I call it smart shopping. It’s easy to style bolder pieces and accessories and let them be the center of attention on a clean backdrop.
My current obsession is body suits. I have amassed an embarrassingly large collection within the past month and I regret nothing! They’re so simple and easy to style and, being the high-waisted jeans aficionado that I am, I love how perfectly they tuck in to everything. The body suit, jeans, and boots combo I’m rocking here is a go-to for me for any and all occasions.
When I have the patience for it, I love digging through the racks at second-hand clothing stores for jackets and mom jeans, as well as scouring the men’s department for oversized pieces and T-shirts I can turn into crop tops.
