Hi! My name is Alexis DuPree and I’m a St. Louis girl currently attending the University of Missouri-Columbia. I am a freshman earning my degree in strategic communications through the school of Journalism. Although it might be a little far off in the future, I’d like to use my degree to do personal relations for any of my favorite companies like Nordstrom or kate spade. I cannot wait to begin my internship through CollegeFashionista and share my love for fashion with all of you!
I have always been interested in fashion and obsessing over celebrities’ looks and their style favs. Some of my favorite style role models include Jennifer Aniston, Kendall and Kylie Jenner and, of course, Kate Middleton. Although going to school full time has made me love my comfortable athletic clothes, I’ll always love getting dressed up for any occasion—sometimes just for fun!
I’d say my style consists of lots of neutral colors. There is something about neutrals that I typically gravitate to because they always make me feel put together and classy. Some of my favorite items for school and dressing on the nicer side are usually found at Nordstrom, lululemon, and J.Crew.
