Hey everyone! Welcome to my page! First, let me introduce myself a little. My name is Alexis, I’m from Alexandria Virginia, but I currently live in Richmond Virginia. I am a senior at Virginia Commonwealth University studying sociology. I’m sure some of you are probably asking yourselves, “why is a sociology major interning for a fashion company?” well my answer to that is; have you ever known someone to get stuck in a major, but they eventually realize what they truly want to do in the future? Once I realized that sociology wasn’t for me, I told myself I would stick with it so I can graduate on time, I immediately began applying for internships that would help me start my future in the public relations industry.
You will most likely find me drinking coffee, reading a good book or hanging out with my cat. I started off my freshman year as a community college student and then transferred to VCU my sophomore year. Making the decision to transfer to Virginia Commonwealth University has been one of the greatest decisions I’ve made so far, along with joining my sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi. I believe taking on this internship will add to my list of great decisions and only make me more knowledgable when it comes to fashion.
This semester I will be taking on a full load of classes and interning with CollegeFashioniasta. I’m so excited for you all to follow my journey and see my collections of pictures in my favorite city with my favorite style gurus!
