Hello again! I am Ali Kessling, and I am going to be entering my sophomore year at University of Tennessee in the fall! I am excited to share some cute summer outfits I see around town during the next few months. Summer is my favorite season all around, but particularly for dressing up because I definitely find the cutest clothes during the summer and nothing beats sandals and flip flops—and bikinis at the beach of course.
Throughout the summer, you can definitely find me in my favorite Triangl bathing suit and a stylish and chic pair of sunglasses, like these from Quay Australia. Sunglasses are a great way to express the bold aspects of your personality while laying on the beach and not getting blinded by the sun. In the summer, I like to bring the boho/indie vibe out for the people around me. Not only does it make me feel like I’m at Coachella in the California desert, but it accents my laid back, easygoing and down for whatever personality. I love PacSun clothing during the summertime and recently began loving Windsor. Kendall and Kylie know where it’s at with their collection at PacSun and I definitely love sporting their items.
My go-to outfit in the summer is a crop top (particularly a crochet one) paired with my favorite high-waisted pair of jean shorts, a choker necklace and a pair of Converse or sandals. If I’m in the mood for showing off even more of the 1970s boho vibe, I’ll throw on my favorite kimono to go with the rest of my outfit. However, you can also never go wrong with your preppy side! Going to school in the south, you almost have to love your Lily Pulitzer dress and Jack Rogers for a day out. Dresses are a way to show off your long legs and your new tan now that summer has rolled around. And, of course, they are so fun to accessorize with your favorite jewelry!
