Hey Fashionistas! My name is Alice Chen and I am a student at The University of Akron studying Pre-Med. I am thrilled to be a Style Guru and writing for CollegeFashionista this spring semester!
For as long as I can remember, I have always had a passion for fashion. I love being adventurous and trying out new trends. College has exposed me to many different styles and I love combining different pieces into a style of my own. Even though I am not a fashion major, I love expressing myself through the clothes and accessories I wear. As an aspiring physician, I would love to somehow incorporate fashion into my everyday life.
I would describe my style as trendy and sophisticated. My closet consists of a wide range of outfits. On some days, you can see me wearing a collared button-down with a skirt and riding boots, but on other days, you can see me wearing a chunky sweater with ripped skinny jeans and ankle boots. What I choose to wear that day depends on my mood. As a college student, I love finding clothes on a budget. I am always looking for sales and deals online and in stores.
Today’s outfit consists of a floral printed burgundy dress paired with a black floppy hat and sliver accessories. I am currently obsessed with this Free People dress. You can either pair it with heels and wear it to a holiday party or dress it down and wear it to brunch with friends. I love stacking a bunch of rings together, because they can instantly make any outfit look stylish.
I can’t wait to share my personal style as well as other styles around Akron’s campus! Make sure to check out my post every month! Meanwhile, check out this fashion and photography blog my friend and I made.
