Hi! My name is Allie and I’m entering my senior year at Illinois State University as an Integrated Marketing Communications major. I’m an avid food, dog, coffee and fashion lover. You can find me re-watching every season of Gossip Girl on Netflix for the third time and eating an unhealthy amount of pizza. Let’s not forget about the ridiculous amounts of time I spend on Pinterest looking at clothes I can’t afford and repining food recipes I’m probably never going to make. I’d like to think I’m a creative person but I’m known for spending more time trying to come up with a clever Instagram caption than I am on my school work (just imagine how long it took me to write this bio).
Don’t be fooled by the fact that I’m writing for a fashion blog; sweatpants and leggings will always be a girl’s best friend. Despite being a broke college student, I still manage to find a way to buy more clothes and kate spade than what my closet and budget allow for. I have a casual style and love to find versatile pieces that can be worn with multiple different looks. I like simple outfits with a cute piece of jewelry to put a unique spin on the look. Summer is probably my favorite fashion season. Who doesn’t love an adorable sun dress and a cute pair of wedges? I am beyond excited to begin this journey with CollegeFashionista and put my passion for fashion into writing and photographs.
